General: Theme Music

    Our audio podcast theme music seems to be the musical equivalent of Marmite; you either love it or hate it. Some listeners have said they would stop listening if we changed it and some people have said that they won't listen because of it. What do you think?

    I love it. It gives a jaunty start to the show that always makes me smile.

    It still cheers me up - in fact some of the intros have been written just because the intro music is like that. Maybe we should try changing it every year. After all, we're now coming up to our third birthday.

    Im in the middle, sometimes it makes me chuckle tho.... but its your show lol but if you change it because someone doesnt listen because of it....sod em' KEEP THE MUSIC!!!!!!!

    Keep it. It's become a unique identifier of the jodcast. Its like Intel playing that soundbite after anyone mentions their name. I instantly know what my ipod is playing when I hear that music. Plus, it doesn't last that long and you're not stopping anyone fast forward so it shouldn't really be an issue.

    That being said, if you want to change it, thats cool too. If its a toss up between the music and the content, then the content wins every time.

    I like the music - it's quirky just like The Jodcast! And easily identifiable - it's part of your branding now... you can't change it. :)
