Great interview with Nancy for 365DA Podcast! I signed up for 4 days the day they got renewed! =-)
I sort of miss hearing Stuart at the end of each podcast this year, but Nancy is doing fine.

Any other Jodcasters signed up to do a podcast this year???

Also great interviews RE the Twitter stuff. I've been busy for all the previous Tweetups, hopefully I'll get to participate in the next one. If it hasn't been decided yet, I'll suggest we do one for the date of Opposition of Mars - I know I'll be spending as much time as I can at the EP watching Mars this month.

Thanks for another great show, liked the Newbury interview, I must try to get into Twitter more.

If you like “the universe today” have a look at “portal to the universe” , it’s been mentioned before on the forum but I think it’s worth a look http://www.portaltotheuniverse.org/

My personal best atro bits for 2009
Round the world in 80 telescopes, unfortunately I couldn’t watch it live, but have seen quite a few of them now, great to see professionals in action......

And my best interview was Neil’s one from Parks, John Sarkissian enthusiasm really come across.

And of cause the Live shows

& thanks again for all the interviews, news & humour JOD ON

Another great show Joders, was Jen giggling most of the time in the bunker (I didn't mind if it was).
Found the chat about augmented reality interesting, just got and old batered iPhone and the astronomy software Is quite good.
Plus it's great to find out what that thing in the sky is
and one shows meteor showers too.

Yes, Jen was giggling during the interview in the AstroBunker.

Adrian West is a very funny man :-P It was probably a mix between giggling and teeth chattering because it was freezing in the AstroBunker!

A few words of appreciation about the News section for this month, and every month.

The quality of the writing is very good - a lot of work goes in to describe a type of object or phenomenon - then a description of the previous state of knowledge - and then an account of what an observation or experiment has added to the body of knowledge and understanding

It makes complex science and ideas accessible - but without any tendency to trivialise or over-simplify, despite only having a few sentences to wok with.

Keep up the good work (Megan)!

Wow, thanks for your comments jr_edge! Much appreciated.

The idea I've always had with the news is to try and use (as far as possible) research published in peer reviewed journals in the month prior to the show. Peer reviewed journals, such as Nature, Science, Monthly Notices of the RAS, the Astrophysical Journal and so on, contain papers that have been reviewed by experts in the field before they are accepted for publication. Occasionally research is described in press releases before it's properly reviewed and published, and I've tried to avoid those stories.

I hope what I write is accessible: when you're so used to hearing people use the jargon it can be a bit hard to tell sometimes! :-)

The night sky in January article contains some
    spelling errors.
The moon of Saturn is "Rhea" not "Rhia".
Next month is "February" not "Febuary".

Stella, I'm not sure if you go back to read follow up comments but the offer is still there if you want to be a proof-reader/listener. You seem to do the job already but it would be useful to pick up mistakes before the show goes live.
